Merger of Asset Protection Experts
Pacheco Coto, a Costa Rican law firm established in 1939, with offices in Zurich and Auckland and a longstanding international tax, trust and estate planning practice in Europe and America, and CONE & COMPANY of New Zealand, with offices in Auckland and San José, whose members have pioneered the field of trust and tax planning in New Zealand, Europe and the Pacific Basin, entered into a joint venture agreement to form PACHECO COTO, CONE + Co., combining both firm's Asset Planning experience to provide ground-breaking legal and fiscal solutions.

The principals of the new entity are Humberto Pacheco A., M.C.L., Senior Partner of PACHECO COTO, with legal studies at the Universities of Costa Rica, Miami and Harvard, former Scholar in Residence at USDC with four decades experience in the field of international corporate, tax and estate planning, and Geoffrey Cone, BA, LLB, principal of CONE & CO., with legal studies at the Universities of Otago and Canterbury and ample experience in international trust and tax planning.
Mr. Pacheco and Mr. Cone are well-known specialists in the scenario of international tax, corporate and estate planning and are highly regarded by clients and peers. Their combined experience represents many decades of proficiency and expertise that raises the bar to the highest level of performance.
