Alvaro Leiva's vast experience and proficiency in the field of Real Estate and Hospitality Law is enhanced by his 15year background as prior Head of the Legal Department of the Costa Rican Tourism Bureau (1994-2005).

Mr. Leiva is renowned for his principal participation in the development and update of the legal framework concerning touristic Real Estate and Hospitality law in Costa Rica, with particular emphasis on touristic incentives, concessions, condo-hotels, time-sharing and marinas.

Moreover, Mr. Leiva had a predominant role in the creation and implementation of all the Papagayo Gulf iniciative. His experience and knowledge in these areas are an added value to the services provided by PACHECO COTO to its distinguished clients.
